noels works (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Todonize mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Apple ID Identifier (via Sign in with Apple): a stable, app-specific user ID provided by Apple. We do not receive your Apple ID email password.
Name and Email (optional, via Sign in with Apple): only if you choose to share them at sign-in. You may hide your real email using Apple’s relay email feature.
Task Data: the content of the tasks, projects, labels, sections, comments, and filters you create in the App.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or crash logs through third-party services. The App does not include third-party SDKs that collect user data.

Apple may collect aggregate App usage statistics through its standard App Analytics service if you have enabled that feature in your device settings; we receive only anonymized, aggregated reports from Apple.

If you use the sharing feature to share a project with another person, that person will be able to see the task content of the shared project. They will not see your other (non-shared) data.

2. How We Store and Process Your Data

All user-created content is stored in your personal iCloud private database, managed by Apple’s CloudKit framework. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple’s infrastructure. We, as the App developer, do not have access to your iCloud-stored content.

Shared content is stored in a CloudKit “shared” database scope and is accessible only by you and the participants you invite.

3. Subscriptions

In-app subscriptions (such as the “Sharing” subscription) are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. Apple notifies the App of your subscription status through its StoreKit framework, which the App uses locally to determine feature access. We may receive anonymized, aggregate payout reports from Apple.

4. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the App’s core functionality (task management, sync, sharing).
To authenticate you using Sign in with Apple.
To determine your subscription entitlement for sharing features.

We do not:

Sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Use your task content for advertising or training purposes.
Track you across other apps or websites.

We do not share your personal information with any third party except as follows:

Apple Inc.: as the operator of iCloud, CloudKit, Sign in with Apple, and the App Store. Apple’s privacy practices apply.
As required by law: if compelled by a valid legal request.

6. Your Rights

You can:

Delete your account and all data from within the App at any time (Settings → Account → Delete Account). This permanently deletes your tasks, projects, labels, sections, comments, and filters from our system.
Stop sharing any project by removing participants in the share management screen.
Cancel your subscription at any time via the App Store account settings on your device.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Security

We rely on Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit infrastructure for data security. Apple uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We use Apple’s Keychain to securely store your Apple Sign-In identifier on-device. No security measure is absolutely impenetrable, and you use the App at your own risk.

9. International Users

The App may be available in countries other than Japan. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to Apple’s servers (which may be located outside your country of residence), subject to Apple’s privacy practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via the App Store listing. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version.
